Exercise your body

Sedentary life is not beneficial for anyone. In the long run, it brings many consequences for your health, from physical problems, such as obesity, heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and even some types of cancer.

All this, without counting the psychological problems that sedentary lifestyles can cause. Stress, irritability, low emotional states, insomnia, among many others, are direct consequences of an excessively sedentary lifestyle.

There are many ways to avoid being sedentary. One of them is to exercise at home. Another way to exercise is to jog, avoid using the elevator, take the stairs, and walk instead of taking the bus. These are all ways to stay active and exercise.

Meditation is one of the most effective ways to improve your long-term memory. Yoga and meditation are practices that will significantly help you reduce stress levels, improve concentration skills and, above all, alleviate any symptoms of depression.

  • Read a book you like.
  • Play a sport and study its rules.
  • Download applications on your cell phone about memory games or mental ability. 
  • Change the place of objects in your house. It will help reduce basic repetitive activities. 
  • Learn a new language.
  • Study something you have wanted to study for a long time.
  • Practice verbal skill games, such as tongue twisters.
