Pretty much, it's a great deal simpler and faster to OSRS gold discover flaws than to mend them, but they've been making a real work. Like making a C++ customer for steam is a pretty major deal for just how small the community appears to have responded. It is not an immediate resolution like suddenly having runelite since the official client on all platforms, but it's a step towards a lot of things we have been requesting for many years.
I fear that osrs getting the main cash cow incentivises jagex to push more cash catching practices in the sport.
I'm hoping it shows Jagex that you don't require intrusive MTX to make something that is extremely rewarding in this era. They could definitely add MTX to OSRS, but it would be very short sighted.Very farfetched but yeProbably not likely to receive eliminated entirely.
At least from what I have seen on the Rsgoldfast subreddit and these, many RS3 players aren't a lover of MTX but a lot of them would be much happier with it is they toned down or eliminated the P2W components (e.g. buying exp) and pushed MTX advertising (or at least had more real upgrades per week after week of MTX promos and little else).
Interesting. And should the sub increases are from OSRS, that is most likely why we've seen such substantial investment in developing OSRS over the past few months.I wonder how it will search for 2020.
